Why you should fail 8th grade:

To all my minion middle schoolers that use this site: I’m actually about to beg you to fail Eighth grade. There are many reasons for his. Such as:

1) FAILING 8TH GRADE MEANS POSTPONING HIGH SCHOOL ONE MORE YEAR.

Okay, that’s my only real reason. But it’s enough reason. I hate to break it to you– but High School sucks even more than middle school. You don’t get “more freedom” no matter what Disney channel says. You’re surrounded by acne-fied teenagers (until you realize that you’re one too). You get teachers that like to lecture you about how you’re “not in middle school anymore”. And then there’s also all the sophmores & juniors who spend their free time complaining about freshmen. I think the only real perk of being in 9th grade is telling little kids I’m a high schooler and watching them bow down in sheer respect at my ultimate wisdom. Except that doesn’t really work for me because none of the kids ever believe me– they claim I’m too short. But never fear. One day, me and my blog minions will rule the world. BWHAHAHAHA.

No wait, I meant Beauties. Seriously, I meant BEAUTIES…

It’s weird. WordPress has completely changed it’s format so I have no idea what the heck I’m doing. I could be posting this to kka’s site for all I know And what happened to the edit changes, like the ability to make words pink and blue or BOLD or highlighted?

Anyways, I’m not “quitting” but I’m not coming back to WordPress either. Remember you can ALWAYS talk to me by commenting on this blog (which emails me if I get a comment) or talking to me on twitter (I’m vinathi on twitter. No surprise there).

Since it’s Potter week, I’m going to start my post with a secret. A very, very dear secret. Okay, here it is: I’m almost thrilled the last Harry Potter finally came out. At first I thought it was going to be a fad so I didn’t watch the movies, and now, 7 or so long years later, it’s finally over. Is it just me or does the atmosphere feel awkward?

SOOO anyways I’m sorry I haven’t posted for so long. If you really care to know what I’m doing / reviewing, you would follow my twitter (which of course is Vinathi). I added two new games to the game page, by the way. Also, happy birthday kka

So the main point of this post is that I discovered this amazing new site called futureme.org where you can write a letter that gets mailed to your self whenever you want. It’s pretty epic. Another thing is that you can read other people’s letters if they choose to make them public, which is pretty entertaining. Here’s one I found:

Do you know what Yahoo Answers is? I’m sure you do. Well sometimes people ask really stupid questions such as:

I found that while I was browsing Yahoo Answers. (Y!A) Anyways, if you go on a hunt you’ll def. find a gold mine. But you don’t even need to go on a hunt. There’s a site called unfriendable.com in which people upload displays of online fails (on yahoo answers, facebook, etc.) and only the best get in. Wait, this comes with a warning label. Some of the jokes aren’t appropriate for kids.

I’m sure you guys remember my yearpages from last year. A cheap version of a yearbook that I ask people to sign. This year, instead of just stapling paper together, I got an actual mini 200+ page notebook And, so, if you could write me a note in the comments for my yearpages this year, that’d be great. BTW: FIRST DAY OF SUMMER FOR ME! Sorry I didn’t post last week. I was super busy with all the events coming up.

Also, while I’m blabbing, if I were to create a mini version of Dizzywood, where there’s a chat box that we can chat in every Friday, a map with all the places on it, and a bunch of memories pages, how often would you visit it? Honestly tell me.

GOOD NEWS & BAD.

The good news: I know what my score is probably going to be for Rube Goldberg, the biggest&hardest project of the year!!!! Basically, you create a large project with a series of steps to do a very simple task.

The bad news: We’re probably going to get like a B on it. I just calculated the potential score for what will happen if we get everything PERFECT from this point forward. I think this should go in the “good news” section, because for a whole 24 hours I was convinced we’d get a D and I’d flunk Science…

KUNG FU FIGHTIN

Let’s face it, Everyone has heard that amazing song from Kung Fu Panda called Kung Fu Fighting. And Disturbia by Rihanna? Classic. How about Beat like Drum by Sean Paul? BEATLAKDRUMMIGYAL. Did you know that the guy who sings Kung Fu Fighting is Black, not Asian? And the person who sings Beat like Drum is also Black, not Jamaican? Rihanna who sings Disturbia and tons of other popular songs is Black as well. And of course, there’s Bruno Mars and other rappers. Black people are just as talented as everyone else. As a guy named Jay said, “Why make race an issue at all? That’s an old, outdated, and useless paradigm. It’s a distraction from the art. It’s a useless, divisive game.” I just thought this was an interesting topic. I’m not sure how people can even tell the difference between the way that black people sing and the way that white people sing. It’s just color, but people have to make it so much more.
SUMMARY: TALENT SHOULD BE BLIND.
